A Message to Our Current and Prospective Clients About COVID-19

Update: March 24, 2020

As of March 21, portions of the St. Louis metropolitan area have recently announced they will join California, New York and Illinois as areas that have issued public health orders (a.k.a. shelter in place orders), requiring their residents to stay home to quarantine and isolate to help further protect and heal their community from COVID-19.

As such, we want to assure you that we are still available and prepared to serve the legal needs of you and all of our clients during this time.

Legal Services is considered an Essential Business and is exempt from these public health orders. As such, we will remain open and available to serve our clients and potential clients legal needs, while still ensuring we provide the highest measures of health and safety for our community. We encourage our clients and potential clients to communicate with us by phone, video conference, and email in lieu of personal office visits.

We hope you and your loved ones are safe during this unprecedented time. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, we are implementing a series of additional measures to ensure the health of our clients, potential clients, office staff, and the legal community.

These measures include the temporary closure of our physical office locations in Creve Coeur and O’Fallon.  Effective today, these offices will remain closed through Friday, April 3, 2020.  However, The Marks Law Firm, L.L.C. will remain operational, and we will continue to evaluate our operations as the COVID-19 situation develops.  We have enacted precautionary safety measures including remote work policies that will remain in place until further notice.

You may be assured of the full commitment of our services and those of this office to our representation of you in your pending legal matter.  We will continue to communicate with all prospective and current clients securely during this time by phone, email, and video conferencing.  While we do not expect significant delays in communication and preparation of legal documents, we ask for your patience while we work hard to ensure that you continue to receive the highest level of quality of service from us.

We must all do our part to help contain the spread of COVID-19. We strongly encourage everyone to take all precautionary measures to safeguard their health, and the health of others, as recommended by the World Health Organization and the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Thank you for being a client of The Marks Law Firm, L.L.C. or considering us for your legal needs.  We will do everything in our power to welcome you back into our physical office locations as soon as its safe to do so.
